Quick decision
Quick decision
If 1 GB is enough for a 7-day trip
Yesim 1 GB / 30 days at $3.00 is the lowest verified price among eligible fixed-data plans in this comparison.
If you need at least 3 GB for 7 days
Saily 3 GB / 30 days at $8.99 is the lowest verified fit. The comparable Airalo 3 GB / 7-day option is $9.00.
If you need at least 20 GB for 30 days
Yesim 20 GB / 30 days at $27.96 is the lowest verified fit. Saily's 20 GB / 30-day plan is $29.99 and Airalo's is $30.00.
If you prefer an unlimited-labelled plan
For one day, the Yesim 1-day unlimited-labelled plan at $4.20 is the lowest verified eligible option. For seven days, the Airalo 7-day unlimited-labelled plan at $29.00 is the lowest eligible option. Fair-use policy details are Unknown for all seven unlimited-labelled plans, so this is not a ranking of full-speed data quality.
If hotspot support is required
The selected Yesim and Saily plans explicitly list hotspot support. Airalo's hotspot field is Unknown in the frozen evidence. Apply your data and validity requirement first, then compare only plans with explicit hotspot support.
What this comparison covers
This is a bounded comparison of 28 verified plans from Airalo, Yesim and Saily: 21 fixed-data plans and 7 unlimited-labelled plans. It is not a complete survey of every mobile-data provider or every SIM, eSIM and pocket Wi-Fi option available in Korea.
Plan details and USD prices were verified on September 6, 2026. They can change after that date. Saily's unlimited offer is not included because the accepted evidence did not establish the validity period needed for a comparable plan record.
Start with trip length and data allowance
First choose the minimum validity that covers your trip. Then choose either a fixed allowance or an unlimited-labelled plan. This page compares verified plan facts; it does not estimate how much data you personally need or act as an interactive plan finder.
All verified plans at a glance
"Unknown" means the source-backed field was not established in the frozen evidence. It does not mean the feature is unavailable.
Best fit by traveler priority
Use this section to understand why the quick answer changes with the requirement. A plan enters a comparison only when it meets every stated condition.
Validity decides which plans qualify
An option that expires before the trip length does not qualify, even if its headline price is lower. A longer-validity plan can qualify for a shorter trip because it still covers the required period.
More data can still be the lowest eligible fit
Providers do not offer every data and validity combination, so the lowest eligible fit may include more data than requested. Extra allowance does not make that plan universally better; it only means the plan meets the threshold at the lowest verified price within this comparison.
Unlimited-labelled results need a separate caution
Unlimited-labelled options are filtered by required validity, then compared on verified price. Because every compared unlimited-labelled plan has Unknown FUP, these results cannot rank full-speed allowance or network quality.
Hotspot evidence is a positive filter
A hotspot-specific comparison admits only plan records with explicit support. Airalo's Unknown state removes its plans only from the hotspot-specific result; it does not remove them from the general comparison or turn Unknown into No.
Fixed data or unlimited-labelled data?
Choose fixed data when you can state a minimum allowance and want a direct allowance, validity and price comparison. The frozen set contains 21 fixed-data plans ranging from 1 GB to 50 GB and from 3 to 30 days.
Choose an unlimited-labelled plan only with the fair-use uncertainty in view. The seven eligible unlimited-labelled plans cover 1 to 30 days, but every one has FUP detail marked Unknown. "Unlimited-labelled" therefore does not mean unlimited full-speed data.
Compare price and validity on the same requirement
The table below selects the lowest-priced eligible fixed plan from each provider for the same minimum data and validity requirement. It does not compare unlike plans as if they were identical.
Prices are source USD prices from the frozen evidence. No currency conversion or per-GB calculation was added.
Hotspot and tethering
Hotspot support is explicitly recorded as Yes for all five selected Yesim plans and all five selected Saily plans. It is Unknown for all 18 selected Airalo plans. Use hotspot only as a positive filter when the plan explicitly supports it; do not treat Unknown as No.
Fair-use limits on unlimited-labelled plans
All six Airalo unlimited-labelled plans and the one Yesim unlimited-labelled plan have FUP details marked Unknown. None can be described as unlimited full-speed data from this evidence. Compare their verified price and validity, but keep the missing fair-use limit as a decision caveat.
Voice and SMS
The five Yesim and five Saily plan records are data-only and record no native voice or SMS. Airalo's native voice/SMS field is Unknown for all 18 selected plans. This section describes the compared plan records only; it does not decide whether your trip requires a Korean phone number.
Activation details that may affect your choice
Yesim's selected plans state that validity begins when the eSIM connects to a compatible network and that activation is required within 90 days of purchase. Saily's selected plans state that activation begins on arrival when the eSIM and roaming are enabled; the source notes a 180-day activation period. Airalo activation timing is Unknown in this frozen evidence.

Provider details
Airalo
The verified Airalo set contains 18 plans: 12 fixed-data options and 6 unlimited-labelled options. Fixed plans range from 1 GB / 3 days at $4.00 to 50 GB / 30 days at $49.00. Unlimited-labelled plans range from 3 days at $12.00 to 30 days at $69.00. FUP details are Unknown for all six unlimited-labelled plans, and hotspot plus native voice/SMS fields are Unknown across the selected Airalo set.
Yesim
The verified Yesim set contains five plans: a 1-day unlimited-labelled plan at $4.20 and four 30-day fixed plans. The fixed plans are 1 GB at $3.00, 10 GB at $19.20, 20 GB at $27.96 and 30 GB at $35.04. Hotspot support is explicit and the records are data-only. The 10 GB, 20 GB and 30 GB prices were displayed against list prices of $30.00, $60.00 and $90.00, with recorded discounts of 36%, 53% and 61%. Those price conditions can change.
Saily
The verified Saily set contains five fixed-data plans: 1 GB / 7 days at $3.99, then 3 GB, 5 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB for 30 days at $8.99, $10.99, $18.99 and $29.99. Hotspot support is explicit and the records are data-only. The separately visible unlimited offer remains outside this comparison because its validity basis was unresolved.
Decision limits
Limits of this decision
- Only Airalo, Yesim and Saily are compared. Other Korea mobile-data providers may offer suitable plans.
- The 28 plans form a verified bounded set, not a complete Korean market survey.
- Prices, discounts and plan details can change after September 6, 2026.
- FUP details are Unknown for all seven unlimited-labelled plans.
- Airalo hotspot, voice/SMS and activation fields are Unknown in the frozen evidence.
- Saily's unlimited offer is excluded because its validity basis was not established.
- Network-quality ranking is not supported by this evidence.
